One of my passions in photography is landscapes (check out my Canadian Photo Tours website) and therefore I was very happy to be able to photograph Kim and Earl’s Banff wedding. So many fabulous spots to choose from.

Since the Banff Golf Course was not open for the season yet, we carefully took some pictures on the green. The bride and groom together with the imposing grey backdrop of Mount Rundle and the crisp green of the golf course creates a beautiful photo.

Another photo taken on the green.

Surprise corner in Banff is a good spot to take some great wedding photos. During this wedding day we had to endure some rain and snow fall, but after waiting a few minutes the weather turned better allowing us to take these shots.

The Banff Springs Hotel in the background made me think of old nostalgic Canadian Rockies photos. This post-processing creates exactly that feeling with Kim & Earl doing some special posing.

Vermillion Lakes is another spot that many photographers use to take their wedding photos. We were lucky that the sun came out right after we arrived at this spot. Just a minute before we were driving in a downpour. Mount Rundle in the background unmistakably tells the viewer that this photo was taken in Banff National Park.

Finally, before we returned to the reception at the Banff Park Lodge, we took a couple of photos at these heritage homes in Banff. Thank you Kim and Earl for making me a part of your wedding day!
